High School requirement/elective

B.E.E. is offering to its subscribers an assortment of Life Skills Class for your high school age child. All of the scheduled classes meet High School Requirements as an elective Life/Practical Skills course.

 

Description:

 

Dr. Amen - Making A Good Brain Great!  ( 2 hour class)  made to meet Public School Requirements

 

This course will teach your students  to love their brain and to take care of it for life.  The course can be credited as a unit in:  within a Health course: within a Psychology elective course: within a Biology or Life Science course: a separate elective course on the Brain and Health.  No extra books are required for this class.

 

Littauer - Personality Class - Learning More about You  (1 hour class) from a Christian Perspective


Student will learn about their own personality and how to get along better with others.

 

Dave Ramsey - High School Personal Finance (2 hour class) - made to meet Public School Requirements


This course will teach your students in detail how to manage their finances.  This course meets CA. State high school requirements as a unit of Personal Finance or Life Skills.

 

 

Schedule:  The classes at this moment are flexible for date and time.

We understand that many wish to commit after they have received their community college class schedule.

Interest lists are forming for each of the below listed classes.

Class time is: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings - some afternoons possible
Classes are offered in my home @:  27665 Estepona, Mission Viejo, CA  92691

 

The classes will be an average of 12 weeks long, running from January thru June of 2012.

Classes begin the week of January 23rd, 2012
Spring Break: the weeks of March 12 and/or April 2 and 9th dates - in accordance with your district
Classes end the week of May 14th.

Fees:

The suggested donation amount of these classes are: $120.00 per semester or $10.00 per week.
The Charter School rate is $150 per semester.

You must be a current subscriber to B.E.E to take these classes. The current B.E.E. subscription is $40 per year for a family.

After your registration form is received, then you will be emailed your confirmation and your book list for the class.

 

Instructor:

Donna has been homeschooling since 1996 and has been active in organizing school assembly programs since 2003.  Through her years in business before becoming a homeschool parent, she had the privilege of working at the executive level of a wide array of companies.  Her experience has prompted her to also teach High School students the importance of what she calls a Life Skills Class.  These classes are focused on helping the students learn tools that will benefit them for many years to come.
